Location / Parking

The Outer Banks Seafood Festival will be held at 6800 S. Croatan Hwy, Nags Head, NC 27959 (MP 16.5 on the bypass road).


There is no onsite parking, plan to travel to one of our shuttle locations below to attend the event.

FREE Shuttle & Off-Site Parking Locations -  Please note no food or beverages will be allowed on the shuttles.

  • Whalebone Park - Next to Sam & Omie's Restaurant in Nags Head
  • Nags Head Town Hall - 5401 S. Croatan Hwy. Nags Head
  • Nags Head Elementary School - 3100 S. Wrightsville Ave. Nags Head (also early volunteer shuttle which begins at 6:30 am)
  • Outer Banks Mall in Nags Head - 5000 S. Croatan Hwy. (handicap accessible shuttle)
  • Gateway Bank - 2808 S. Croatan Hwy. Nags Head
  • Dare County Government Center - 954 Marshall C. Collins Street, Manteo (also early volunteer van that begin at 6:30 am)

Shuttles run approximately every half hour or less from 10:00 am - 7:00 pm.

  • Travel light, pack well, what you bring on has to fit in your lap.  No alcohol or coolers permitted.  If you have questions on schedule, ask the lot attendant (if available).
  • Returns to offsite lots will be back-haul and load dependent.
  • Shuttles may stop at more than one lot depending on fill
  • No pets allowed on shuttles or festival grounds.  Please note no food or beverages will be allowed on the shuttles.

No Onsite Parking:

There is NO onsite parking at the festival and no parking allowed on Route 158 bypass road.

Entering the event:

Only buses will be allowed to drive into the festival grounds.  Individual vehicles will not be allowed to drop off passengers.  Other entrances to event are for staff, staff vehicles, vendors, and other event participants ONLY.

Walking:

  • There will be designated cross walks close to the Festival event site for crossing the 158 bypass road.
  • Pedestrians may only enter at the main entrance where you will pick up your tickets and find important information.
  • Watch for signs, cones, and traffic control directing you to the main entrance.
    Bike rack available onsite, but bring your own locks (no charge for bike parking).
  • THIS IS A DANGEROUS ROAD, CROSS ONLY AT A CROSSWALK.
