Purpose of Festival: To provide a fun and educational experience promoting, honoring, and celebrating our coastal seafood heritage and community. These purposes are exclusively nonprofitable, charitable, and educational.
The hours for this year’s festival will be 10:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
12 restaurant vendor spaces are available on first-come, first served basis
The Outer Banks Seafood Festival will feature displays of the region’s most talented chefs serving local seafood.
Participating restaurant vendors may choose between two fee schedules for participation in the festival:
- Fee structure outlined below includes participation in, and proceeds to, the festival as well as a $75 Temporary Food Permit (the festival will take care of obtaining these permits) and a $100 clean-up deposit. These options require no split of proceeds collected by the vendor on the day of the festival with the OBSF. A deposit of $475 is due at time of registration with full amount due paid by the due date indicated.
- $800 fee plus $100 clean-up fee and $75 permit = $975.
- Fee of $475 inclues participation in the festival as well as a $75 Temporary Food Permit (the festival will take care of acquiring these permits) and a refundable $100 clean-up deposit. Vendor also agrees to split their proceeds with the festival 25%/75% (vendor retaining 75% portion).
NOTE: All food purchases will be made using the official “Seabucks” which are the monetary tickets of the Outer Banks Seafood Festival. Monies will be reimbursed to the vendors once all tickets are received, counted, and financial transactions completed. This will be within 10 days of the festival.
Vendors may not sell any type of beverages.
